Lisa M. Airey, CSW, CWE

Lisa Graduated from Georgetown University , Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude. She successfully completed the three-year American Wine Society Wine Judge Certification Program in 1988. In August of 1995, she was certified as a Wine Educator through the Society of Wine Educators (SWE) and joins the ranks of 90 other CWEs nationally.

Lisa worked in the wholesale wine industry for 12 years, first with the Kronheim Companies of Jessup , Maryland as Wine Training Manager, then with F.P. Winner of Baltimore , Maryland as Wine Manager.

She has written numerous wine articles for trade and consumer publications and has served both on the Society of Wine Educators Board of Directors and on its Executive Committee. As chair of the SWE Corporate Wine Training Committee she spearheaded the development of the 300-page SWE Specialist of Wine Study Guide and its international certification program.

Her current projects include creating an Australian Wine Academy for Pernod-Ricard and on-line study modules for Gallo and the Society of Wine Educators.
